Bond Producer Michael G. Wilson on the Jinx movie and Bond 21: `at least three years`

Casino Royale12-05-03
Bond series producer Michael G. Wilson gave an interview to Film Review magazine (UK) this month during the “Die Another Day” region 2 DVD edition.

He made some important points about Bond 21 and the rumoured “Jinx” movie:

“MGM and ourselves and Halle thought it might be a good idea to make a Jinx film, so we`re just kicking around some ideas with the writers, to see if we can do something with that”.

Last week MI6 reported that E! Entertainment News had rumoured the script for the `Jinx` movie was already complete.

He went on to talk about the next Bond film: “As for Bond 21, it`s not even a glimmer in it`s mother`s eye. It`s a matter of logistics, it takes time to make these films and they get bigger and bigger, and they take more and more planning… I reckon it would be at least three years from the last film”.

MI6 reported last week that Samantha Bond (Miss Moneypenny) had heard rumours that the `production team were wondering whether to hold off` on Bond 21 until 2007.
