Bond villain Jonathan Pryce becomes Welsh cinema patron

Scala Cinema and Arts Centre in Prestatyn, Denbighshire will be host to British actor Jonathan Pryce CBE.

The actor who played Elliot Carver in the 1997 Bond film, "Tomorrow Never Dies", was born in Carmel, near Holywell.

Chris Bond, manager of the Arts Centre, invited the 007 villain to speak at the cinema. "We have film-makers here and he said he would like to support them in any way he can," Bond told the BBC
