Heineken advertisement shot last weekend at Shepperton Studios

Bond Style - 19-04-12
The hotly anticipated and highly debated Heineken/007 tie in advertisement was shot at Shepperton Studios last weekend.

The project was conducted in true 007 style - with the utmost secrecy. The sound stages were closed to all but the most essential personal to keep the promotion a secret until its release in the run up to "Skyfall" in October.

Despite the secrecy, a few facts have emerged from the production. MI6 reported last weekend that Alex Reece, a British actor, had secured a role playing a Russian assassin opposite Daniel Craig in the featurette. MI6 also understands that, contrary to press speculation, the ad was not helmed by Sam Mendes ("Skyfall" director). Rather, the project was in the capable hands of Matthijs van Heijningen Jr., director of the 2011 film, "The Thing". Matthijs is the son of a successful Dutch producer and has enjoyed a successful career directing commercials for among other big brands, Peugeot, Delta Lloyd, Orange and Heineken.
