Pierce Brosnan: 'James Bond will follow me for the rest of my days'

Actor News - 04-09-12
Pierce Brosnan appeared at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of his new film "Love Is All You Need" and was inevitably asked about how life after 007 is treating him.

"I don't really know about falling out of Bond, Bond will follow me for the rest of my days and happily so. And I've been an actor from the age of 18 so my passion has always been acting. I was going to act all my life with or without James Bond. James Bond was a great gift in my life and is something I will forever be grateful for. It's allowed me to sit here today and to make this movie ["Love Is All You Need"]."

On the subject of his new film, Brosnan said: "You read the script and the script touches your heart and you fall in love with the words and the characters. You try to let the character come to you and in this particular instance it was so much tried to my own particular life in many ways, having lost a wife to cancer. So I knew something about the grief of life. There were many emblems in the movie which appealed to me."
