Daniel Craig in Afghanistan to screen 'Skyfall' with British troops

Bond News - 18-11-12
The 007 actor made a surprise visit to British forces stationed in Afghanistan this weekend, the BBC reports.

The story first hit the internet via twitter when family members of the troops shared the news, and it was backed up by @ArmyPost who posted the first photos of the Bond star in the Middle East.

"We get quite a lot of visitors here, but having James Bond was special," Warrant Officer Class 1 Rob Ingham told the BBC.

Some of the army's weapons were demonstrated to Craig and he was shown how they search for bombs in a training operation.

Craig was in time for a special screening of the 23rd 007 adventure, "Skyfall", put on for the deployed British men and women.
