British High Commissioner to host 'Skyfall' premiere in South Africa

Dame Nicola Brewer, the High Commissioner in South Africa, will host an invite only "Skyfall" premiere event on Thursday, 22 November at the Ster-Kinekor Theatres, .

The newest Bond girl, Berenice Marlohe is expected to make an appearance at the screening.

Dame Brewe told Media Update: �We are delighted to be working with the creative industries and partners in hosting the South African Skyfall premi�re and welcoming B�r�nice to the event. UK creativity plays a key role in the global film industry. Ten of the top 20 global box-office successes of the last 11 years are based on novels by UK writers and London is now the third busiest film production city in the world after New York and Los Angeles.�

"Skyfall" opens across the country on Friday, 30 November.
