USA TV - Reelz Channel to host 16 film James Bond season in February

Reelz Channel (USA) today announced the network is marking the 50th anniversary of James Bond in movies with 16 Bond movies airing throughout February 2013. For more than 50 years, James Bond has defined the spy thriller through countless improbable escapes, wild chase scenes, battles with dubious villains and adventures with iconic Bond girls. Now REELZ viewers will see the evolution of the legendary spy with titles spanning 1964-1997, including The Spy Who Loved Me, Thunderball, Moonraker and Goldeneye with 007s played by Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby and Pierce Brosnan.

Below are premiere dates and times for all 16 Bond movies airing on REELZ. Viewers will have additional chances to watch each Bond movie throughout February.

Goldfinger - Sunday, February 3 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. From its shocking prologue to an exhilarating mid-air climax, this lightning-paced 007 thriller features Sean Connery battling cunning international smugglers intent on infiltrating Fort Knox.

You Only Live Twice - Sunday, February 3 at 10:30pm ET/ 7:30pm PT. Sean Connery stars as James Bond in this special-effects spectacular that takes him to Japan to foil an evil plot involving the onset of a nuclear war between the Russians and Americans.

Diamonds Are Forever � Monday, February 4 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Sean Connery stars as the dynamic 007, on the trail of a diamond smuggler who leads him on a nerve-shattering chase through Amsterdam, Los Angeles and eventually, glittery Las Vegas.

For Your Eyes Only � Tuesday, February 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Roger Moore as the formidable James Bond takes on the dangerous task of locating a top secret device that lies precariously in the waters off the beautiful Greek coast in this breathtaking action thriller.

The Spy Who Loved Me � Wednesday, February 6 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Roger Moore as agent 007 teams with a beautiful Soviet agent (Barbara Bach) to battle Stromberg (Curt Jurgens) in order to save the world from total annihilation and a 315-pound villain, "Jaws" (Richard Kiel).

Moonraker � Thursday, February 7 at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT. Roger Moore, in his fourth role as Agent 007, is sent to outer space to protect Britain and the world from a madman who would destroy the earth in this pulse-pounding, out-of-this-universe adventure.

Thunderball � Sunday, February 10 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Sean Connery is back as James Bond, hired to prevent madmen from exploding a nuclear device near picturesque Nassau in this explosive thriller which earned an Oscar for its special visual effects.

Never Say Never Again � Monday, February 11 at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT. Sean Connery returns to the role that made him famous, James Bond, in this remake of Thunderball.

Octopussy � Tuesday, February 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Roger Moore as James Bond is lured to the Indian palace of Octopussy (Maud Adams) where he learns of a plot by a diabolical villain (Louis Jourdan) that could destroy the world.

Goldeneye � Wednesday, February 13 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Pierce Brosnan ignites the screen as James Bond in this explosive, thrill-packed adventure that pits him against a vengeful adversary who controls an awesome space weapon capable of global destruction.

On Her Majesty�s Secret Service � Thursday, February 14 at 6:30pm ET/ 3:30pm PT. Just as Agent 007 finally discovers true love, he is thrown into spectacular action and danger in this entertaining adventure that stars George Lazenby as the charismatic Bond.

Tomorrow Never Dies � Friday, February 15 at 1am ET/ 10pm PT. The 18th installment of the series pits Bond (Pierce Brosnan) against a powerful media mogul (Jonathan Pryce) and his wife (Teri Hatcher) who has a secret past with Bond.

From Russia With Love � Sunday, February 17 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. James Bond (Sean Connery) delivers another blistering, thrill-a- minute caper as he attempts to thwart the enemy from seizing a decoder that can access Russian state secrets.

The Living Daylights � Tuesday, February 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. This thrilling, lightning-paced adventure has the indestructible James Bond (Timothy Dalton), armed with his razor-sharp instincts and license to kill, battling diabolical arms merchants and chasing the gorgeous Maryam d'Abo.

Licence to Kill � Thursday, February 21 at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT. James Bond catapults into his most passionate adventure -- not for country, not for justice, but for personal revenge. Timothy Dalton brings urgency, charm and deadly determination to his role as 007.

The Man with the Golden Gun � Sunday, February 24 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT. After his life is threatened, Roger Moore as 007 is lured into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a million-dollar killer (Christopher Lee).

REELZ will also give James Bond the TV About Movies� treatment with several original full-length and interstitial programs celebrating Bond in movies. �The Countdown on REELZ: James Bond Movies� counts down the best movies of the Bond bunch while the �REELZ Special: 50 years of Bond� looks back at the reign of spy supremacy, including the amazing Bond girls, exotic movie locations and gadgets galore.
