Brosnan dubs Bond 'most rewarding role'

Actor News - 13-04-13
Pierce Brosnan spoke up about James Bond past and future whilst promoting the new rom-com "Love Is All You Need".

Of his time as Bond, the 007 star says: "That was without a question one of the most rewarding roles. That character, and the opportunities it gave one. That job is the gift that keeps giving because once you're a Bond, you're a Bond for life."

He commended Daniel Craig's work in recent years, explaining that the man who succeeded him as Bond is "doing superbly well".

And finally, he gave a nod to Colin Salmon - his co-star from the 007 days - thinking that the actor would be a great Bond.

"I've always thrown Colin Salmon's name in the mix. He's somebody I have worked with closely over the years. He would be outstanding and I think it would be absolutely essential [to, one day, have a Black 007]."
