Plans announced for 'Goldfinger' celebration in Oslo, Norway

Event - 01-05-14
James Bond fan organisations in Norway and Sweden are teaming up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Goldfinger" for Norway's first ever gala screening of the film.

Attendees will screen a beautiful, newly restored print of the film at Oslo's newest and finest cinema. Two special guests from the film will also be in attendance: Norman Wanstall, sound editor, and one of the Bond Girls, Margaret Nolan. Both will participate in a Q&A; following the screening. The British Ambassador in Norway, Ms. Jane Owen, will also be in attendance to open the festivities. "It'll be a very cool program based around the film and a grand celebration", say organisers Morten Steingrimsen (James Bond-magasinet) and Anders Frejdh (From Sweden with Love).

Seats for the private screening are limited to 292 specially invited guests on May 22nd 2014. But on 23rd May Oslo Kino will throw open its doors and host a public screening of the iconic 007 adventure.
