Richard Kiel's wife posts message to fans

Actor News - 14-09-14
Richard Kiel's wife, Diane, has posted the following message to all his fans after the actor's passing on September 10th 2014.

To all of Richard's wonderful friends and fans,

My heart has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, messages, flowers, cards, and food following the loss of my husband. I have taken great comfort from seeing all the pictures that family, friends and fans have been posting on Facebook, many of which I have never seen before.

I have never been more proud of my four children and their families than I have since the death of their dad and papa. They have been my rock and it is through them that Richard lives on.

A special thanks to our good friends Mike and Becky Carey, who are taking care of so many of the details of the service for me, what a blessing you have been to our family.

Thank you one and all for sharing how Richard has touched your lives. It is great knowing that not only was he loved by us, but also by so many others.

While we will miss him being here with us, we will forever hold him close in our hearts. As Christians, we know that this is not the end, and that we shall all be together again.

For those of you who would like to celebrate his life with us, a memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26th at 10:00 at Yosemite Lakes Community Church in Coarsegold, California.

Love to you all and God bless,

Diane Kiel
