He's been working in the industry since age seventeen and joined the Bond family as an apprentice on "The Spy Who Loved Me". He received his first Bond credit on "The Living Daylights" and also contributed to another famous franchise, working as a special effects technician on Superman II and III.

More recently he has developed a working relationship with the "Batman Begins" director, Christopher Nolan and won an Academy Award for his work on "Inception" (2010)

In one of his earliest tweets, the special effect supervisor confirmed he would return to the 007 franchise for "Bond 24" and that his work is already underway on the pre-production for the Sam Mendes-helmed adventure.
