Ralph Fiennes jokes about Bond on the carpet at the Empire Awards

Bond News - 16-04-15
Bond's new head of MI6, Ralph Fiennes, was caught by Radio Live on the red carpet at the Empire Awards late last month.

They quizzed him about Bond, which he'd be out of the loop on for a few months. "To be honest, I've done a little bit of filming, way back in December," the actor comments. "Now they're shooting all kinds of sequences I'm not in and I get to shoot some more in a couple of weeks [this week] and then in May."

They asked Fiennes about his handover with Dench and if he had any nerves about the part. "Oh, yeah, because she was such a great 'M', set the bar very high."

Finally, in response to the question of Judi giving Ralph some tips, the actor joked: "I asked her whether I should wear a dress or a skirt. She said, you can vary it between scenes."
