Pierce Brosnan clears up TSA knife story

Actor News - 01-09-15
James Bond star Pierce Brosnan recently hit tabloid headlines for being stopped at a US airport by TSA staff for carrying a knife to a security checkpoint.

Brosnan was at Burlington International Airport in Vermont with his 14-year-old son Paris when he was stopped by TSA agents.

The staff were apparently concerned with the contents of his carry-on luggage following a routine screening.

However, following reports that it was a 10-inch hunting knife pierce was in possession of, Pierce has set the record straight to the Independent.

I don't think it was 10 inches of a knife. I'm a painter. I'm an artist, so I had my pencils. The knife just went into the bag, you want to keep your pencils sharpened.
