Fiona Fullerton cringes at 'Bond girl' moniker

Actor News - 02-09-15
Fiona Fullerton starred as Roger Moore's love interest Pola Ivanova in 'A View To A Kill' when she was in her 20s. Now 58, Fiona says she cringes when anyone refers to her as a "Bond girl" - because it was so long ago.

She told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I kind of cringe when I'm referred to as a Bond girl because I'm not a girl any more.

"I might have been when I did A View to Kill but certainly now I'm very much of the older fraternity so I'm a Bond Woman and always will be."

"It's lovely being part of this rather exclusive club, it's a great honour. Having somebody like Monica Bellucci join is fantastic - it shows you don't have to be 22 to be a Bond girl."
