Will 'SPECTRE' be the longest James Bond film yet? |
Spectre (2015) - 07-09-15
Could 'SPECTRE' be the longest James Bond film in the franchise to date?According to advanced booking websites for UK cinemas, 'SPECTRE' is being listed with a humongous running time of 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes).
At 145 minutes, 'Casino Royale' (2006) narrowly beat 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) , which runs to 142 minutes, to become the longest Bond film. 'Skyfall' (2012) ran for 143 minutes.
Although the figure of 160 minutes is just guidance for the cinema schedulers, the first rough cut is probably making its way through BBFC censors now for advice on a 12A rating. The final duration will be revealed when 'SPECTRE' receives its UK classification a couple of weeks before release.
