Wall Street Journal lists possible James Bond 21 directors

Casino Royale - 08-08-04
The Wall Street Journal published a piece by Merissa Marr this weekend about the current 007 franchise status and a list of directors they claim could be contenders to take the helm of James Bond 21.

The list included:
Rob Bowman
Alfonso Cuaron
Christopher Nolan
Sam Raimi
Gore Verbinski

Interestingly, the article concludes with a quote from John Garder, author of 14 James Bond novels and two film novelisations between 1981 and 1996.

"There's nothing wrong with Mr. Brosnan, he just hasn't been served terribly well by the scripts. The problem with the films at the moment is that they have nothing to do with the original Bond."

Thanks to `Ken` for the alert.
