Sir Roger Moore jokes his wants to play a James Bond villain

Actor News - 25-10-04
Former James Bond actor Roger Moore is hoping to return to the spy series as a villain, with his tongue firmly in cheek.

The 77-year-old star, who appeared in seven movies as 007 including the 1977 classic "The Spy Who Loved Me", wants to make an appearance in an eighth Bond movie as a bad guy who is immobile and remains unseen, reports the Irish Examiner.

Moore jokes: "I would love to be a villain who is confined to bed, wrapped in bandages, so that I wouldn't have to appear. I'd just phone my part in!"
