British actor Dominic West rumoured for James Bond #6 role

Casino Royale - 30-10-04
British actor Dominic West has had his name dropped in the latest media rumour on who will become the sixth James Bond 007.

Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England in 1969, West would be 37 at the time of Bond 21's release in theatres if he secures the role. Unlike many candidates touted by the press, West has a free schedule for potential shooting in late 2005.

West is perhaps best known for his roles in "Mona Lisa Smile" (2003), "Chicago" (2002) and "28 Days" (2000). As usual with any potential 007, he has a movie connection to a previous James Bond - West played a minor role in "Spice World: The Movie" in which Roger Moore hammed it up as a villain.
