Casino Royale - 06-11-04
Ewan McGregor is allegedly in negotiations to take on the role of James Bond #6, according to the latest tabloid reports.

ContactMusic report that a source said talks are at an early stage, adding, "Ewan has a big advantage - he's already an international star who's proven himself in both romantic and action films."

They claimg "film insiders" insist the "Trainspotting" star has beaten Bond wannabes Colin Farrell, Clive Owen and Jude Law to the role, because of his successful portrayals of heros and lotharios.

MI6 Rumour Rating: Tabloid alert. Proceed with caution. Bond producers have typically avoided hiring known movie stars for the role.
