Sir Sean Connery has quit acting forever, claims Harrison Ford

Actor News - 08-12-04
Sir Sean Connery has retired from acting for good, according to the latest claims.

Harrison Ford, whom Connery co-starred with in the 1989 film "Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade", let the news slip.

When asked recently whether Connery would be joining him in a possible fourth Indiana Jones movie (touted for 2006), Ford said that the 74-year old James Bond had quit film making forever.

Connery last appeared on the silver screen in the 2003 film "The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen".
