`The Moneypenny Diaries` - new James Bond book due for October 2005?

Another new James Bond book is coming soon - or is it?

"The Moneypenny Diaries - The Secret Diaries of Miss Moneypenny" by Kate Westbrook is due to be published in October 2005 by John Murray - part of the Hodder umbrella. Hodder & Stoughton have been the British hardback publisher of 007 continuation authors since John Gardner's "Scorpius" in 1988.

Little information is available about the book, which seems to have been renamed "Guardian Angel" for its listing on Amazon UK - a ploy to throw fans off the scent perhaps? The Amazon Germany listing gives the book its full title.

Publishers Weekly revealed a little more about the book following a Hodder press party back in February - "....a book called, intriguingly, The Moneypenny Diaries, anonymously composed by someone purporting to be James Bond's celebrated secretary at MI5."
