`Interview` with the Aston Martin Vanquish

Die Another Day - 23-06-02
The latest issue of "Entertainment Weekly" in the US has interviewed Die Another Day`s Aston Martin Vanquish:

AGE: "Let`s just say I`m the very latest model."

WHY?: Because after all those boring BMWs, it`s about time James Bond got back behind the wheel of an Aston - one we hope comes equipped with an ejector seat, machine guns, and maybe a cappuccino maker.

CAREER HIGH: "The indoor chase scene in "Die Another Day", opening this November, if you`ll indulge a shameless plug."

CLOSEST BRUSH WITH CAREER IMMOLATION: "Getting flipped in said chase. Luckily, the producers hired 11 of us for the shoot - at $228,000 a pop."

INFLUENCES: I`d have to say the Aston Martin DB5 that blew Sean Connery`s top in 1964`s `Goldfinger`. For my money, that`s still the coolest car in motion picture history. Except Herbie the Love Bug."

THE COMPETITION: "Oh, please. You mean Vin`s vintage GTO [in XXX]? A little too much. Rather makes you wonder what Agent Triple X is compensating for, doesn`t it?"
