Mads Mikkelsen lands villain role in Casino Royale, according to his father

Casino Royale - 14-02-06
As MI6 reported a couple of weeks ago, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen has been in talks to play a villain in the forthcoming James Bond film.

Rumour newswire PopBitch now claims that Mads Mikkelsen's father is telling the world that his son has secured a role in Casino Royale.

Mikkelsen's father, who is a taxi driver in Copenhagen, "has been spilling the beans to his passengers" according to the site.

Mikkelsen commented in earlier reports that a small 5 minute role in a blockbuster like Casino Royale would pay more than a principal role in a Danish film - he compared the experience of fellow Dane actor Ulrich Thomsen who appeared as Davidov in "The World Is Not Enough". 40 year-old Mikkelsen will be best known to cinema goers for his role as Tristan in "King Arthur" (2004).

Thanks to `overkill` for the alert.
