Exclusive: Details on Italy location scouting, plus Casino Royale climax - spoilers

According to several sources, the James Bond production team are scouting locations in the Veneto region of Italy. Apparently the crew are are scouting for a Palladio's Villa near Vicenza.

Sources also revealed that the film's climax will take place in Venice, Italy - although it was not confirmed whether shooting would actually take place there.

"Casino Royale" production has just moved to the Bahamas, to shoot a chase sequence through beach front properties doubling as Madagascar.

From there, the filming will move to Italy, before heading back to Prague (Czech Republic) in mid-March for studio work, and finally to Pinewood Studios in the UK for two weeks. Principal photography is scheduled to wrap in July.
