James Bond will do Virgin in `Quantum of Solace`

Sir Richard Branson was on London's LBC radio station this morning where he mentioned Bond 22 production 'Quantum of Solace'. Branson told host Nick Ferrari his Virgin Atlantic Group has secured further product placement branding in the latest adventures of the suave super spy - reports MovieHole. Sir Richard made a brief cameo appearence in 'Casino Royale'.

He went on to say Bond (Daniel Craig) will be seen in at the bar of the first class section of one of the Virgin Atlantic aircraft. Branson also joked that he'll not be making an appearance in this one. "They haven't asked me!" He quipped. Adding, Branson stated having Virgin be part of Bond is a very good set of advertising.

Rival airline British Airways cut Sir Richard's cameo out of the film when they aired "Casino Royale" on their in-flight entertainment, and also airbrushed out the Virgin logo. BA last flew 007 in 2002's "Die Another Day".
