Realistic prop weapons arrive under tight security in Italy for `Quantum of Solace`

They are realistic enough to inspire fear. And they arrived, under escort, in Italy this afternoon, at Fiumicino Airport. They are the weapons that James Bond, will be in Italy for the shooting of some of the scenes of the upcoming adventure "Quantum of Solace".

The weapons, arrived directly from England, and which the producer assures are perfect reproductions of originals for use on set, came under the close scrutiny of the State Technical Police Squad, who confirmed their innocuous nature.

The weapons will be used during action scenes in the new 007 film to be shot during April in the provinces of Siena and Massa Carrara and on Lake Garda.
