Halle Berry `absolutely furious` about the Jinx film being scrapped, according to a source at IMDB

On today`s Internet Movie Database "People News", the popular site have followed up the recent news of MGM`s axing of the Jinx project from Halle Berry`s perspective.

IMDB said Halle Berry was fuming over the curtailment of the project, and was "desperate to portray the character again in a franchise of spin-off action films".

An "insider" told IMDB, "Halle is absolutely furious. She thought she was going to become the female James Bond in a series of films. Now it`s been canceled with little explanation."

Following a recent report in Variety, IMDB also claim "MGM Executives made the decision over the weekend and have instructed Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson to stop developing the movie."
