'Quantum of Solace' was cobbled together, says Daniel Craig

In a revealing interview with The Telegraph, conducted to promote his latest film "Cowboys & Aliens", Daniel Craig reveals his feelings about "Quantum of Solace" and who Bond 23 is shaping up in pre-production.

When asked about whether the delay in starting his third James Bond adventure, due to the MGM financial debacle, has affected his outlook on 007, Craig said: "The hiatus may prove to be a good thing, because Im itching to have another crack at it, particularly after Quantum of Solace. We had to cobble that one together because it was made in the midst of the writers strike, and it had an effect on the finished product, no doubt. With this one, the right things are in place Sam [Mendes] is on board and we have the bones of a really good script.

Will he be doing more after that? I think so, he says, somewhat guardedly. He doesnt know? I take it one job at a time. Put it this way, if we mess it up, I wont be asked to do another. The contract goes both ways. I can walk away from it or they can sack me.
