Ben Whishaw linked to Bond 23 role, rumours on Bond Girl characters

Skyfall - 19-08-11
Movie news site ComingSoon has published a couple of interesting rumours on the casting of the 23rd James Bond film (AKA 'Bond 23') which is due to start shooting in November this year, for an October 26th 2012 release.

According to the site's sources, 30-year-old British actor Ben Whishaw - who has appeared in movies like Bright Star, I'm Not There and Layer Cake (with current Bond Daniel Craig) - will be co-starring in the movie in an undisclosed role.

Whishaw is currently starring in the BBC's period drama The Hour, where his character is a fan of Ian Fleming's novels and makes frequent references to Bond.

ComingSoon also claim that the two "Bond Girls" this time around will be a "beautiful English Agent" and a "Beautiful Asian woman" named "Severin."

The last rumour is likely to be bogus, as the male villain in the recent 007 continuation novel 'Carte Blanche' was called Severyn Hyde. Furthermore, Severin and all variations of it, are considered boys names.
