Jeffery Deaver confirmed for Virginia Book Festival next year |

Bestselling author Jeffrey Deaver will speak at the Crime Wave luncheon during the Virginia Festival of the Book, which will be on March 24, at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel.Tickets are $50.Ian Fleming Publications chose Deaver to write �Carte Blanche,� the most recent James Bond book. His awards include the Steel Dagger and Short Story Dagger from the British Crime Writers� Association, the Nero Wolfe Award and the British Thumping Good Read Award. He�s a three-time winner of the Ellery Queen Reader�s Award for Best Short Story of the Year.
The book festival will take place from March 21 to 25 in a variety of Charlottesville locations.
Tickets for the three events are on sale at the festival�s website, www.vabook.org. The festival�s ticketed events tend to sell out months in advance.
Other events, which will number 125 or more, are free.
