British tabloids claim singer Adele and producer Paul Epworth have Bond 23 job

Skyfall - 03-10-11
Last month British singer Adele hinted that she was working on a demo for the theme to Bond 23.

Since then the tabloids have been rife with speculation and The Sun has gone as far to claim that Adele, together with producer/songwriter Paul Epworth, have landed the job.

An unidentified source apparently told the red-top: "Adele is the obvious choice to record the next Bond theme. The last few songs for the spy movies have hardly set the charts alight. After her success this year film-makers know the song is almost guaranteed to be a huge hit."

Such 'quotes' and insider 'sources' are frequently trotted out by the tabloid media to generate news, however, there may be more than the usual depth to the facts of this story, given Bond star Daniel Craig did not deny Adele's involvement when quizzed about the news.
