Omega Titanium Planet Ocean to be 007's new watch, matching Craig's eyes

Skyfall - 04-12-11
MI6 understands that James Bond's new watch in "Skyfall" will be the Titanium Planet Ocean. An Omega source confirmed the plans, although it was not official news yet.

In further developments, the RumorFix blog claims "a watchmaker was flown in from Switzerland to the set to match the face of Bonds watch with Daniels blue eyes. Then a few days later, the designer was flown back again to take out a few pieces inside the timepiece to make it a few ounces lighter."

In the last film, "Quantum of Solace", Bond wore an OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Chronometer with a black dial. Bond fans and OMEGA enthusiasts know that 007 had been wearing Seamasters featuring blue dials since 1995 so the black watch face on the Seamaster Planet Ocean in Quantum of Solace marked a subtle departure for James Bond.

This now appears to be a one-off, with the watch face going back to its usual blue for the 23rd film.
