Early morning crowds gathered around London's Camden Lock to see the pair continue to shoot the boat sequence. At one point, Craig jokingly flashed a V-sign to someone up on the bridge. Filmmakers closed off a section of the canal and suspended large floodlights for the scene, which sees Bond and Tanner go under a bridge. Sam Mendes was on location to direct the action.
