EON Productions and Christie's auctions presented
a fantastic auction
of James Bond props from the EON archive
and
from
007 actors' personal collections to celebrate the 50th anniversary
of the series and to benefit many charities. A live
auction of 11 lots was held on Friday 5th October 2012, whereas
dozens
are
still
available to bid online. Combined, the auctions smashed estimates
and raised over £889,300 (including buyer's premium) for
charity.
