phase of the James Bond 40th Anniversary series of
watches
released
by Swatch in 2002.

In 2002, Swatch unveiled a series of James
Bond theme watches. The famous watch designer
was commissioned
to design 20 watches, one for each film, to celebrate 007's 40th
anniversary. Each watch came complete with the "007 40th anniversary" logo
on the box or a special sleeve, the "007" logo on the
strap loop, and the name and original release date of the movie
engraved on the strap. These
watches were limited in number and are now highly prized collectibles.
The watches were released
in four phases of five watches, with the fourth "Final Mission"
wave launched in winter 2002 to coincide with the theatrical
release
of "Die Another Day'. The release contained the three most recent
Pierce Brosnan adventures and picked up "Diamonds Are Forever"
and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" which has been skipped
in the previous three waves. Each of the
phase four watches were
designed
by Swatch in 2001 and released as part of their 2002 Fall/Winter
collection (with the exception of "Diamonds Are Forever" and
"Die Another Day" which came under the 2002 Spring/Summer
collection).
