Take a closer look at globe-trotting "Designing 007" exhibition, with a focus on the art and design that goes into creating the world of 007 on the screen. Whilst a great deal of attention was given to the inclusion of some of the fantastic props, cars and even costumes, the exhibition includes so much more than that. The sketches of Ken Adam - and the various distinguished production designers who followed him - provide a rare snapshot of the hard work that goes into the pre-production process of any film. Plus, since its opening in London, the exhibition has been added to with pieces from the production of "Skyfall".
Stuart Kortekaas was able to take a tour of the exhibition whilst it is in Melbourne and gain unprecedented photographic access to the exhibits. Take a look at some of the lesser-seen items in this MI6 gallery. And don't forget to check out the exhibition in person. Visit designing007melbourne.com for details.
