James Bond videogame "From Russia With Love"...

As part of their "Directors Cut" ethos, EA will
be breathing new life into the classic movie scenes from
the 1963 film "From Russia With Love" for their
latest 007 videogame.
One of the most memorable scenes from the movie is when
007 spies on the Russian Consulate via a periscope hidden
in the underground canals. This is the moment when James
Bond first gets a glimpse of his objective - Tatiana Romanova!

Kerim Bey takes James Bond down to his cellar where the board
a boat and sail off along an underwater canal, eventually coming
to a chamber beneath the Russian consulate complete with periscope
peeking the Russian's conference room!
They spy on a meeting of the leading Russian agents in Turkey,
and Bey recognises Bulgarian assassin Krilencu at the table. Bond
also gets his first real glimpse of Romanova. He asks Bey for
plans of the Russian Consulate and they head for a a gypsy settlement
loyal to Bey where Bond can hide from the attentions of Krilencu.
EA have expanded the storyline to also include some action on
the water, and some reconnaissance by Bond of the areas underneath
the Russian consulate.
Development of "From
Russia With Love" will take place at EA Redwood studios
(USA) and will ship in October/November 2005 on Microsoft
Xbox, Sony PlayStation
2 and Nintendo
GameCube. Versions for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP are
yet to be officially confirmed.
