As part of their "Directors Cut" ethos, EA will
be breathing new life into the classic movie scenes from
the 1963 film "From Russia With Love" for their
latest 007 videogame.
One of the early key locations is the gypsy camp, where
James Bond and Kerim Bey visit and experience a cat fight
between two girls vying for the same man, a tremendous battle,
and the assassination of sniper Krilencu by Red Grant -
unbeknown to Bond.

The level in the game will faithfully follow
the movie's story arc. Kerim Bay and James Bond show up
at the camp, feast, and see the famous fight erupt between
two of the gypsy girls before all hell breaks loose. 007
and Kerim and the rest of the gypsies have to fight their
way out of the trap. For the videogame version, this will
include a few new sub-missions, one of which is Bond rescuing
hostage gypsy girls in amongst the tear gas.
EA have also developer all-new follower and squad AI,
so in the Gypsy Camp level you have allies watching your
back.
Development of "From
Russia With Love" will take place at EA Redwood studios
(USA) and will ship in October/November 2005 on Microsoft
Xbox, Sony PlayStation
2 and Nintendo
GameCube. Versions for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP are
yet to be officially confirmed.
Stay tuned to MI6 for the latest
unrivalled coverage of "From
Russia With Love" (VG) starring Sean Connery as
James Bond 007.
