Following on from the MI6
world exclusive screenshots last week, EA have released
more images from the Istanbul location that will feature
in the forthcoming videogame "From Russia With Love".
In the five new screenshots, Sean Connery as James Bond
can be seen taking on goons with a shotgun as well as manning
a machine gun nest.
The use of the location will be expanded from the movie's
storyline in what EA call their "Director's Cut"
approach to the source material.

The rappel feature from the last 007 title
"Everything or Nothing" will be returning in "From
Russia With Love". In the screenshot opposite, Bond
uses the rappel function to break in to a building following
an internal explosion.
The weaponry used in "From Russia With Love"
will be retro 1960's technology, but with an added twist!
A few of the weapons and gadgets will have stylish upgrades
from Q-Branch.

Multiplayer
Fresh screenshots of the four player splitscreen multiplayer
mode show some of the characters you can expect to play
as later this year. Amongst those on show in this batch
are Red Grant, Krilencu, Kronsteen and Morzeny.
EA confirmed
to MI6 earlier this week that "From Russia With
Love" will not feature bots in multiplayer
modes - it will be human players only.
Development of "From
Russia With Love" will take place at EA Redwood studios
(USA) and will ship in October/November 2005 on Microsoft
Xbox, Sony PlayStation
2 and Nintendo
GameCube. Versions for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP are
yet to be officially confirmed.
Stay tuned to MI6 for the latest
unrivalled coverage of "From
Russia With Love" (VG) starring Sean Connery as
James Bond 007.
