GoldenEye Rogue Agent Characters
6th October 2004
GoldenEye
Goldeneye is an original character created by EA for this
title. "Goldeneye" comes from Pussy Galore, who
nicknames the MI6 rogue agent after his special eye gadget.
As this is a first person shooter, players will only see Goldeneye
during 3rd person perspective cut scenes between missions. |

Number One
All the villains stand in the shadow of one man - number one!
With a distinct likeness of Donald Pleasance who played Blofeld
in the 1967 film "You Only
Live Twice", number one prefers his cats to be white
and his volcanoes hollow. His eyes, although cold and scarred,
are on Goldeneye... will you live up to his expectations? |
Dr. No
The first villain to ever take on James Bond in the film series,
Dr. No was played by
Joseph Wiseman in the 1962 film.
In the game Dr. No is fighting a turf war with Goldfinger
for control of the criminal underworld.

Auric Goldfinger
Auric Goldfinger
becomes your ally in the game after you are thrown out of
MI6 for reckless brutality. Played by Gert Frobe in the 1964
film, Goldfinger now runs Auric Enterprises from a base
on the top of a Swiss mountain. His prize possession is a
new weapon called the OMEN, which you are hired to help protect
from Dr. No's claws. |
Pussy Galore
Also returning from "Goldfinger"
is a legendary Bond girl in the shape of Pussy
Galore. Honor Blackman slipped into the flight suit back
in 1964, and as in the film with 007, she will become your
ally. Her pilot skills are used to whisk you around the world
as you hunt down Dr. No. |
|
Oddjob
The third character from the movie "Goldfinger"
is the silent but deadly Oddjob.
The mute Korean butler will be wielding his infamous bowler
hat again, but only in the opening virtual reality mission
in the game. Played by Harold Sakata in the 1964 film, Oddjob
may have his nose put out of joint with the arrival of another
top mercenary at Auric Enterprises. |
Xenia Onatopp
She first worked for an MI6 rogue agent in the film "GoldenEye"
when she was Alec Trevelyan's henchwoman. Now Xenia
Onatopp is in charge of the troops for Dr. No. As Goldfinger's
hired help, you will have to face the deadly assassin as played
by Famke Janssen in the 1995 film. |
|
Francisco Scaramanga
Another lover of gold and technology is Francisco
Scaramanga, who has developed a special "golden eye"
augmentation - which Goldfinger arranges for you after you
lose an eye to Dr. No in an early encounter. Scaramanga acts
as the "Q" for the villains, supplying the latest
technology and gadgets to the underworld. Christopher Lee
returns to voice the character he played in the 1974 film
"The Man With The Golden
Gun". |
