The US front of house campaign continued for James Bond's third outing, 'Goldfinger', with another set of eight 11" x 14" lobby cards. Originating from black and white photography on set, the printing process re-colourised the images with high contrast, often leading to significant changes from what audiences would see on screen.
The cards were issued by National Screen Service Corp with strict instructions: "Licensed for display only in conjunction with the exhibition of this picture at your theatre. Must be returned immediately thereafter."
A complete set of all eight 'Goldfinger' lobby cards will sell for $1000-$3000 at auction depending on condition.
