New Young Bond novel by Steve Cole undergoing first edit

Author Steve Cole, who has taken over the Young Bond series from it's creator Charlie Higson, has tweeted a few updates about the status of the new adventure, due for publication in 2014.

Earlier this month, Cole tweeted: "Excited to have editorial notes from Flemings and @ReadingRuthie on my 1st Young Bond novel; now it feels really real, not just fan fiction!"

Ruth Knowles is the editorial director at Random House Children's Publishers.

The book will be published next Autumn. The dedication in the book was auctioned to raise money for the Philippines disaster relief and raised �800.
