Dave Bautista moves on to 'Blade Runner' from Bond

"Guardians of the Galaxy" and "SPECTRE" star Dave Bautista has signed on to the "Blade Runner" sequel set to star Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling.

Scheduled for release in 2018, the pic is the follow-up to the 1982 sci-fi classic. Hampton Fancher, one of the co-writers of the original film, is set to write the screenplay after collaborating with Ridley Scott on story ideas.

Filming will commence in July 2016, with "Skyfall" DOP Roger Deakins shooting.
