Confirmed - 'GoldenEye 007 Reloaded' is the Wii title polished for PS3 and Xbox 360 (first look)

Gaming - 19-07-11
MI6 can confirm that the mysterious "GoldenEye 007 Reloaded" title, first leaked last month, will in fact be a polished version of the Nintendo Wii 'exclusive' from last year ported to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Earlier, Amazon in France leaked the release date as October 28th 2011, although the retailer has since removed its notices. Activision is expected to officially announce the game tomorrow at the annual Comic Con in San Diego, CA, USA.

The good news for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners is that the graphics engine is having a complete overhaul to deliver the high-definition visuals the Wii was unable to.

Very little else is expected to change in the game.

The news is likely to upset hard-core Nintendo fans as they see another game supposedly 'exclusive' to the platform move on to rival consoles.

MI6 understands that "GoldenEye 007" has sold approximately 1.3m copies on the Wii to date.
