Jeffery Deaver confirmed for Virginia Book Festival next year

Bestselling author Jeffrey Deaver will speak at the Crime Wave luncheon during the Virginia Festival of the Book, which will be on March 24, at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel.Tickets are $50.
Ian Fleming Publications chose Deaver to write �Carte Blanche,� the most recent James Bond book. His awards include the Steel Dagger and Short Story Dagger from the British Crime Writers� Association, the Nero Wolfe Award and the British Thumping Good Read Award. He�s a three-time winner of the Ellery Queen Reader�s Award for Best Short Story of the Year.
The book festival will take place from March 21 to 25 in a variety of Charlottesville locations.
Tickets for the three events are on sale at the festival�s website, www.vabook.org. The festival�s ticketed events tend to sell out months in advance.
Other events, which will number 125 or more, are free.
