As part of the Fifteenth Mill Hill Music Festival, the BBC Elstree Concert Band will bring you a thrilling evening of music from the world of espionage. Not only will you be able to explore the unmistakably bold, jazzy and exciting realm of Bond music – including Diamonds are Forever and Skyfall – but you will also be exposed to the exceptional theme tunes of other spies, sleuths and detectives such as The Avengers and Thunderbirds.
Formed in 1984, this 45-piece band has a repertoire that reaches from light classics to show music as well as contemporary wind band arrangements. Their performances have been broadcast nationally as well as internationally through the BBC World Service.
