British actress Naomie Harris, best known to James Bond fans for her role as Miss Moneypenny in the latest two 007 outings 'Skyfall' and 'SPECTRE', has been included in this 2017's New Year's Honors list.

Naomie will join the ranks of the Officers of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Drama.

In total 1,197 people have received an award this year and it has been the most diverse ever. In the almost 100-year history of the Order of the British Empire there has never been a greater number of individuals from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) background. Also, just over 50% of the list comprised of women - for only the third time in history.

There were also OBE's for actor Tim Pigott Smith, who played the British Foreign Secretary in 'Quantum of Solace', and actress Helen McCrory who played Clair Dowar MP in 'Skyfall.'
