North America to wait an extra week for No Time To Die

26-Feb-2021 • No Time To Die

Fans in North America will have to wait a whole week more than the rest of the world to see 'No Time To Die', if the current schedule holds.

MGM today confirmed that the 'international' territory (any country other than the USA and Canada), that is being distributed by Universal, will see 'No Time To Die' launch on September 30th. The previously announced 'global' date of October 8th will only hold for fans in America and Canada.

A delayed North America bow is not unusual for the roll-out of a James Bond film, but the week may feel particularly long this time given most films are now launching day & date worldwide, or are also available on streaming platforms the same day.

With the film's release having been delayed five times already, there is no guarantee this plan will hold. MGM is also actively up for sale and any new owner could change this schedule.
