The CBC were on set at Pinewood Studios in England for the filming of Thunderball in 1965. This news report contains behind the scenes footage of Sean Connery on a Palmyra set and is later joined by Claudine Auger to film the watery climax.

Director Terence Young is also seen giving Connery and Auger stage direction, in English and French, for a rescue helicopter that wasn't there.
