Eric Bana dismisses James Bond rumours as crazy, will the media get the hint?

Casino Royale - 05-08-04
Despite having denied the link months ago, the latest Eric Bana rumours that he would be taking over from Pierce Brosnan caused a global media frenzy this week - even though there was no truth to them at all.

After seeing his name in headlines everywhere, Bana has expressed his surprise at the latest PR avalanche.

The 35 year old Australian said, "I've said like a million times I wouldn't do it. It's never, ever, ever been something we've had a discussion about. I haven't got a bloody clue where this all started."

Bana dismissed the claims as "crazy".

The media are now hunting for their next unsuspecting actor for "Next Bond" headlines.
